I have a stock 2007 Supercharged Saleen. I know it comes down to driver mod, air, 60ft.... but was wondering what is a decent recipe to knock off consistent high 11s? Bone stock on all season tires with ty Saleen tune with 3.8 pulley I ran 13.1 @108 with a 2.1 60.

I'm going to be installing "brenspeed" stage 3 upgrade which includes (3.4 pulley 8-9lbs boost, KB boost a pump, jlt cold air. Is it possible to do with stock headers?

Will I need upper/lower control arms?

Which rear tires on the big 20inch saleen wheels? Thank you in advace.

With stock headers and mid pipe I assume she should be roughly 430ish to the tires on a dyno jet with the stage 3 kit.

Saleens are roughly 200lbs heavier than gts. Heavier seats, body panels, blower...., also gave 20inch heavy wheels so all that needs to take into consideration

You basically need a weight/power ratio better than 10.0lb/rwhp, and optimized traction to get the power down.
Your Saleen already has the former so you need to work on the latter (tires and suspension). Some weight reduction, especially at the front, wouldn't hurt either.

So 430ish wheel horse can run high 11s? Can you safely get these cars running high 11s with the tr3650? I'm guessing clutch, upper/lowers and some drag radials? Can I still use the stock 20 inch or do I need to convert to big little set up?

450RWHP and traction is enough to get a 3,600lb car into the 11's all day long

You've got the general idea. As for the wheels, you could look for lighter weight 17" or 18" wheels and fit 27" tires. You could easily shave 10lb or more from each corner, and that's unsprung weight so it'll help handling and improve steering response. The reduction in rotational mass will also get more HP down to the ground.

Appreciate the reply guys. Launching hard to achieve high 11s. Is that super strenuous on the 3v chassis on a drag radial? Once the clutch is addressed will the tr3650 Start having issues? Any other weak links.

The stock two-piece driveshaft is one weak link and when you add drag radials or slicks, the stock axleshafts are also prone to breakage on a hard launch.
The stock TR3650 is rated to 390lbft at the input shaft, so if that breaks start looking for either a TR6060 from a GT500 or a Magnum XL.

One other question. With researched it seems 3vs usually trap lower than say a coyote car. For instance it seems most mid to high 11 second 3vs are usually trapping 115-117 and it seems coyote cars or 03 cobras are in the 120s. Is there a reason why they tend to trap lower? Is it the timing in the upper rpm to keep the 3v internals alive at these power levels?

It all comes down to HP. The Coyote 5.0 and the 03-04 Cobra 4V simply have the potential to make more. That said, 430rwhp is enough to trap 118-119 with a mid 11's ET in a car that weighs 3700-3800lb with driver.

This is Wally. I actually remember my password from the early 2000s lol.

So my plan is next summer. Brenspeed stage 3 kit. 3.4 pulley(9lbs on saleen blower). Boost a pump, colder plugs, JLT intake, off road X pipe.

Upper/lower control arms.

Might ride out stock clutch because she feels perfect right now.

Remove passenger seat, (saleen seats are cinder blocks lol), Remove rears, gut trunk, remove front sway bar, possibly run a braille light weight batter. Light weight drive shaft.

I noticed LMR have SVE big and little setup with tires. Not sure if they will clear saleen big front breaks or not. What's recommended for big and littles?
