How to run new door speaker wire?

I tapped into the subs at the amps under the left side of the dash and the mids/highs at the rear of the stereo.

The factory wiring is sufficient. "High-end" wiring is all marketing anyway. When you use all the factory wire, it'll be roughly 12ga to the 8's, and 16 or 18 to the highs. That should be sufficient. If you must run new wire, reach DEEP in behind the dash, about 2 inches above where it looks like the tunnel to the door would be. There's a 2 part "clip" that goes into that rubber boot you pictured. Separate the 2 parts and you can run wire through then. You'll only need to put the one part back to hold the boot in place.


BTW, I tapped into the same spot IS did. I am running 225 RMS to my midbasses (each) with no problems. Now, If I could simply find a bit better sounding drivers to drop in there.
