I got a gear from the classified adds and nothing against the person selling it at all, but it is not marked, and I was wondering if there is a way to tell what ratio it is buy counting teeth?
divide the number of teeth on the ring gear by the number of teeth on the pinion gear, example: 41 teeth on the ring gear & 10 teeth on the pinion gear = 41 divided by 10= 4.10..
