Test the rear sensors with a voltmeter. Set it to resistance and measure in ohms. Measure each sensor and see what you get.

I do not know the acceptable value offhand, but open would indicate a bad sensor. They frequently bulge due to moisture/corrosion.

There are also tests for the modules. I believe there might be one such procudeute in the link above

will do, thanks.
i think the testing of the sensors will be sufficient, im having a hard time believing the module went bad by coincidence.
if both sensors seem ok, then i may believe it

thanks again

i replaced the left rear ABS sensor today, the one that i really had to whack to remove so i could do my gears.
ABS warning light is gone.
Still not sure if the ABS is working properly, but at least the light is gone...

Had to destroy both of my sensors when I rebuilt the limited-slip, so it's not just you. They were fully corrosion-welded in and days of soaking didn't help.

I stuck a dremel in there and cleaned it up nice and maybe opened the hole up just a tiny bit. Hopefully I never have to remove it again, but if I do maybe it won't be so hard next time.
Alternatively, maybe every time I do my brakes I will take the sensor off and clean it up.

I did the same, I smeared a little anti-seize on there too with the hopes it'll help, it didn't seem to hurt the function of the sensors since it was just on the plastic body. We'll see next time if it helped.
