All you have to do is drag n' drop; just make sure you burn as a DATA CD, not a music CD. This preserves the mp3 format. If you do a music CD, it will try to convert them to the old .wav format.

Hmmm. I always burn a music cd, not a data cd. Never had a problem. I use nero or ht fireman though.

You can't burn MP3s onto a CD as a music CD, it doesn't work that way if you want to play them as MP3s.

I have only 1 MP3 CD because I weed out a lot of the songs I don't like or ones that remind of ex-girlfriends.

I think I burned the ones I have as a music CD. Must be the difference in software.

You may have noticed the AUX button on your Shaker system. You can set this up to use a portable MP3 player like an iPod or the like. Ford offers someting called Trip Tunes on the '06 and up that allows you to do the same.
Purchased an MP3 interface from a company called Logjam Electronic. (logjamelectronics.com) It costs $90 and is pretty easy to install. I have several thousand songs on the player and it is great for long road trips.
