My 96 gt is a 248 with no fogs stock.

it has the wires to plug the fogs in, the relay/fuse is there for the horn, so I think the last step to get these to turn on would be wiring a switch and replacing one of the coin holders right?

Where should this switch be wired too?

in theory, if the wire harness is up front for the fogs, the harness should be there for the switch. just look around in there.

then again...it is a ford. so it probably isnt there. in that case i cant help you. it was many years and untold amounts of alcohol ago when i wired my v6 for foglights.

Im just trying to figure out what I need for fog lights to work on my car

the switch does replace the coin holder and gets tapped into the
headlight wire under the drivers dash i dont remember the color
but you could go to your ford dealer and ask for a foglight kit (if theyre still available) it has detailed install instructions, just photocopy them.
good luck
PS i have a 96 248a too (opal frost)
