I would try some of that orange goo stuff. it works wonders on getting tree sap off, I would think it would do the same to the vinyl glue

I used Goo Gone on my windshield to get rid of the residue from my old emissions stickers--it was the only thing that would get rid of it...still kind of a pain in the butt though...give it a try pretty cheap anyway.

Yep - GooGone and a plastic razor blade...are we talking about just glue residue or are there "tans lines" where the vinyl used to be?

i say try WD-40 as well, but make sure you clean the paint really well and then put a nice coat of wax on it.

If the goo gone doesn't work, maybe a claybar will. What do you guys think?

Try 3M Adhesive Remover - very sparingly!!! It removes adhesive, paint overspray and tar. Do not rub hard, but go over several times instead. Good Luck!

After the 3M Adhesive Remover, use some 3M Hand Glaze to bring the shine back and follow up with your favorite wax.

kids and ricer stuff

the 3m stuff a previous poster mentioned is probally the best idea.

i used some stuff called acrysol to remove the glue from the badges on my car. it worked fine. not sure if it will tackle the vinal glue.

yeah i got it off. i was afraid to use goof off or goo gone cause they were very strong and i thought it would take off the paint. so i scrubed with simple green and the polished and waxed with a buffer. took all do to so.

I always use WD-40 to get the dealership stickers off and it works great. Just clean well afterwards.
