I have a 01 GT five speed and was wondering if a Diablosport predator is worth the money. Can you feel a difference with it?

I have the exact same car as you and yes it made a difference you can feel where your ass meets the seat. A good part about it is WHEN (not if) you get gears, new wheels/tires, you can calibrate your speedo with it. There's a lot of play with the electronics you can do with it. I got mine on ebay for like $320 shipped. HOWEVER!!!! if you have about $250 MORE $$$$$ I would get a custom internet tune from Tim Barth at modularfordpowerhouse . this guy knows his ****! I think his tunes are in the $500 range.

I got 2 tenths in the quarter that say yes.
Was running 13.70s before predator...now 13.50s

That is just the basic tune they have on it.

I recently bumped the timing to 22* and hope to mess with air/fuel on tthe dyno coming up to get a little more out of it.

Definetly worth every penny if you ask me.

22* sounds like a lot of timing, i'm running 15* and thought you shouldnt really go over 16* , or is 22 just the setting on the predator which equals like 16*? An extra 250 for an internet tune I thought they were about 100.

Setting on predator is 10....at idle with the diagnostics mode...it reads 21-22 * when I rev it pas 2500 it drops down to around 18....

EDIT: forgot to mention....with the mods in my sig I was getting around 270 - 280 miles per tank...now I'm getting 300-310

It doesn't knock so I'm guessings its alright
