How would Borla exhaust sound?

I have been thinking of sometime down the road switching to Borla exhaust, but I have wondered if it still sounds like a stang. How do they sound on our 5.0? If anyone has a sound clip, it would help.

Borla sounds so good that it will make you wet your pants....well that is my opinion at least

Borla sounds good, Bassani sounds better but is too loud for me, so I think I'll go with Magnaflow catbacks.

a guy at work just put borla on his 04 cobra it sounds nice as **** but i still love the sound of flowmasters on a 5.0

borla is pretty awesome, i think Bassani is too metallic... but Im with 50vert, Flows are classic stang and scream when you romp on it

i just installed a Borla Stinger catback on a 04 Mach 1, Saturday....Sounds pretty decent to me....i could hear it 1/4 mile away going thru the gears on the pike...Quiet at idle, not to bad when he got into it...$$$$ system for sure...Was a dream to install...fit perfect....Borla has a nice system for sure...
They have this "slide connection for the cat connection and where the tails connect over the axle...was a leak free install...I was impressed...

I found a killer deal on a Borla 94/95 catback in the classifieds and was really tempted to get it. I just couldn't get over how the tips looked. I don't like how they flare out at the last few inches of the tips...I think a tip with one diameter all the way back to the tube looks a lot better on our cars, plus the Magnaflows flowed slightly better so I went with the MF catback and have been very pleased. No more drone, woohoo!

Borla all the way. Pretty quiet at idle and nice and throaty when you jump on it. Nothing else will sound like a borla...it is one of a kind.

Which borla mufflers are the one's that come with the 94/95 kit? What do you think of the race mufflers?

I love the sounds of my Borla's. I will also admit that I wasn't completely sold on the tips and might prefer something else, but when I polish them up real good they look really decent. My car absolutely screams at WOT with the headers and O?R x on there as well. It is a little bit more of a racier sound, but its still plenty deep for me.

I read that they are the XR1 series mufflers.
