The guy that owned this car before me used bondo in this right rear quarter panel. He put the car in the ditch, the bondo flexed a little, the paint didnt, and it cracked it. I dont know if I should just sand off the paint and repaint it, or get a whole new quarter panel. Only problem is, i cant find anyone selling replacement quarter panels. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Email or PM Paul Perreca - he's a paint & body guy - see his thread http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=600169 for a sample of the paint & body work he did.

The bondo cracked and cracked the paint with it. It must have a pretty thick layer of it.

Your best bet is to replace the quarter with a new skin. I have seen some places selling aftermarket ones but I have not had any personal experience with them.

If you just repainted the cracks would come back.

Deffinently need to take that all the way down to the metal that is left, find a donor car and cut out the parts that you need.

Bondo by no means was intended to be used that extensively on a car.
