Here is a question I am sure has been asked a million times. Could anyone give me a ballpark horsepower and torque at the crank on my car? The speks are on the bottom, I just dont know if its 9.5:1 or 10:1 compression, previous owner could not remember but said it was one of the two.

Also I was thinking of adding a supercharger, how much boost could I add, non-intercooled safely?

i think around 240 maybe, give or take alittle. Your stock heads are holding you back. That's not acompletelyboost friendly compression ratio, but you should be abletoget by with 8 or so.

So 3-4k worth of upgrades for a 15 hp gain? This thing is ALOT faster than my previous Mustangs and it has run a best of 13.1 on Bridgestone 245/50/16. It has to be more than 240

I'd be suprised if it made 240. I think Grey5oh was estimating high.

Yeah I was being optomistic; however, there is no reason he can't put 240 down though if his shortblock is in good shape.

And you have to think, I am talking about to the wheels, stock foxes generallyput down between 180-190 hp to the wheels

Oh, my bad I thought you were talking crank That seems about right. I want new heads, but I have never done that kind of work and cant really afford to have it done. I am not sure which heads to go with anyway. I think something iron so if she ever gets really hot I dont kill the heads.

get a set of gt40p heads and have them ported...you can pick up a set of a 99+ i believe explore for pretty cheap.

btw what was you 60 and trap speed on the 13.1?

2.07 for 60' and I believe trap was 110. The old owner showed me the time slip. I have not run it myself since I had it, after I get the hood I will run it in Ennis and see what I can make it do. He had alot of things wrong on it I fixed, but I think he was a better driver than me.

It seems I remember seeing a website that had gt40p's ported for $500, I wish I could remember that address
