intake and exhaust, prolly good for about 10-15hp
or you can just drop in a 2.3t, it's good for at least more 100hp.

take it from an old n/a 2.3l driver, the n/a is a good reliabe mule but not a good power maker. you can make power but by the time you make big power it becomes finicky and unreliabe. the turbo motor makes a lot of power cheap. and can be a daily driver. go with the turbo my friend.

Use the search feature, there is loads of information concerning the turbo engines and turbo swaps on this site. Also consider checking out www.turboford.org if you do decide to swap in a 2.3 turbo motor. Plenty of knowledgable guys over there, one was just in MM&FF's 9/06 issue with his TurboCoupe running 12.3s.

Cheap, Fast, or Reliable. You can only pick two.

If you got an A4LD (auto), I would say do a T5 swap. This would help improve fuel economy and free up a few ponies. The other thing as some have pointed out is, think about a 2.3T swap. I actually got better fuel econoy with my SVO than I did with my 93' 2.3L w/A4LD. And that is with me flooring them all the time.
