Picked up my first mustang yesterday and I love it so far. The only problem/function ive found thats weird is sometimes after I fire the engine up its starts humming..almost like its in the clutch or even the throttle..its really weird.. I dont know if its the flowmasters that are on it but i cant pin point it.. also when it hums rarely itll stall out when its in nuetral..almost like i need to get it warmed up so the RPMs dont drop but it only does it at random. Anyone else have this problem??

Are you sure it's not coming from the fuel tank? Like maybe a fuel pump going bad?

Possibly ive been trying to locate exactly where its coming from..im pretty sure its below me..and i dont think that the stallin is related to it idk..ive never encountered a prob like this.. and now my shifter has a slight vibration when in nuetral and when i get on it it raddles a bit..maybe there all connected??

It's hard to say without actually hearing the noise. Can you make a video? You can cycle the key on and off (just to the ON position, not start). The fuel pump will turn on each time you turn the key on. See if you hear the noise. The throw out bearing being bad wouldn't make the car run bad.

Alright ill try and make a video asap! the humming is pretty random though...itll usually def do it when the car cools down and when i first start it up but after that i could be in either 2nd or 4th or 5th and itll hum for like 3 secs and I just now am starting to notice raddling in my shifter..when I accelerate real hard through gears it raddles a lot

You can try cleaning the IAC and see if that makes any difference at all.

No. No fuel passes through the IAC. So if that is your problem a fuel additive won't do a thing.

The IAC is simple to remove and clean. There are two bolts holding it on. There is also one wire connection. Remove it and clean with throttle body cleaner. I use a small brush to get up inside of it to remove some of the buildup. I will be doing this to my car later today hopefully if I get time. I can take some pics for you.
