I know quite a few V6's have added that shifter. I myself was thinking about getting one but I decided to wait for the MGW instead.

Sorry I don't have any first hand info about installation, but what exactly were you wondering about? I have done a lot of reading on this unit.

shooter, click the link in my sig. its for a GT, but will give you a good idea on installation. it appears as if everything would be the same from a V6 to GT. there are only a few bolts that hold the shifter to the car, some for the linkage, and some for the handle. removing the console is very easy, and only takes about 5 minutes to remove and install it again.
