just wondering, do you know what they do for the drag pack? mine has the hurst shifter but stock handle.
are the hurst shifters different from the drag pack vs the regular hurst shifter you would buy?
IMO, you can't go wrong with either one. We have Hurst on both of our cars and it has worked well for us. We like the notchy feel. But if you want the smooth euro feel, then go with the MGW shifter. The MGW has the ability to use the stock knob. The Hurst does not.
If you want the MGW, get it. Just wait until you can afford it. I can promise you that you won't be disappointed.
yeah, don't pull an "anticubicle" and buy the Hurst...2 weeks later you'll regret it

search posts made by chubhunter. he had the hurst, and switched to the MGW. he posted his thoughts on the two once. i know him personally, so i take his word for it. i have not driven his car with the MGW though, so i cant compare the shifters myself.
I had a Hurst on my 05 for around a year. I recently replaced it with an MGW. I was dissapointed. After reading how great the MGW's were I was expecting something more. There is NOT much difference between the two. Yes the MGW is a little smoother. But just a little. I spent the extra 60 bucks and also ordered the white shift ball and crome shaft. Huge dissapointment. It dosen't look good and is way too exspenive. The Hurst is far, far better looking and much less expensive. I don't hate the MGW, it is a great shifter, but it is very pricey and just doesn't look very good. My advise is, save some money and buy the Hurst.
