Hypertech Programmer Questions

I got my Hypertech Programmer today and hooked it up to tune my car, firm up the shifts and re-calibrate the speedometer for the 4.10 gear in my automatic GT. I did all of this and followed the instructions step-by-step and I see no change whatsoever. The speedometer is still wrong and nothing else seems to have changed. It is definitely communicating with the car and its said that the vehicle was successfully programmed. Does anyone have any suggestions or have had this problem. Is the programmer just defective? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hypertechs dont yeild you any gain anyway......sell it and get a Diablo Sport Predator....you can manually tune your car.......get a A/F gauge a play with your fuel curve, and timing......and still fix your speed-o Top speed limiter and rev limiter.....

But cannot calibrate speedo for 4.10!!!!!!!!!
He cant get something that doesnt exist either ( diablo predator for GT )

I have the Hypertech and it worked fine for me. Is it just the calibration for the gear that didnt work? If so maybe you didnt select it and selected the others options. I would reset to your stock settings and just do the recalibration for 4.10 and see. Make sure you press Y for 4.10 on the programmer.

how would you use an A/F guage to tune? That is not very accurate.
