Hey all! Just wanted to say I am back to the Mustang world after a not-so-great experience with BMW. I purchased a 2004 330 Ci last Summer after selling my 1998 Mustang GT convertible. I know, what a stupid move! I got worn down by all of my friends telling me the BMW was a more refined, fun ride. So, I went with the BMW since Ford was surcharging so much for the GT convertible. Well, now 6 months later I am back where I belong in a brand new GT convertible and I love it! I got a great deal the day after Christmas and am smiling from ear to ear! It's great to be back! :)

Welcome back from the darkside. :) I have a gal friend who had 2 - 330CIs and I have to tell you that for the $ it was the most expensive, uncomfortable torture device I had the misfortune of spending 10 hours in for a trip to Long Beach.

Not to mention the number of mechanical problems she encountered. Most electrical in nature. She ended out getting a 2006 Denali. hahahahaha

I personally wouldn't bother unless it was an M3 or a 7 series sedan. For the $, I would rather pick up a gentley used AMG-MB.

I will stick to the Stangs.

So what did you dislike about the Bimmer? Other than the fact that it's boring looking and overpriced and that everyone who sees you driving one will think you're a yuppie dork...

Well, for one thing, I took it for an oil change and it was not finished 7 hours later. They didn't know why it hadn't been finished and suggested I should be accepting because "it is a BMW and you didn't pay for the oil change." I told them I had paid plenty for it (when I purchased the car) and they had ruined my first (and last) experience with BMW. Besides that the transmission (SMG) was really rare for the 3-series (non-M) car and I was afraid it was not fully developed. So, I sold it and now have my new Vert!:D
