The numbers that Supra's produce on the dyno do not impress me for the track times they turn. Sure, they can beat my car, but c'mon, 700 or 800 horsepower and they run 10's? There is a guy at the local track that claims 1100 horsepower and runs 10.2. The numbers sound good, until they get out there .

I agree Joe... Thats why they are highway and dyno queens.

What does a 500hp and a 700hp Supra have in common?
12sec time slips

I dont care how much hp they have, they don't have no wher near as much torque that they need to get the car up and moving.

Jeez did you get the jump on a few of those. Good races but the Supra is king on the highway. Ive never seen a vid of a fairly modded supra loosing on the highway. Im not saying it isn't impossible but Id like to own one to see how good it pulle in 5th and 6th gears.

who did you buy your domain off of? ... i mean your stuff rings up on yahoo servers, but doesnt mean you bought the domain off them.. im actually trying to find better prices for domain names...

see i used to own randomjoker.com till just recently when i chose not to renew my account.. now im looking for a cheaper domain transfer.. not to park at..

http://s91630886.onlinehome.us - thats what randomjoker.com used to look like

btw on the news it said i was gonna buy it back.. but i never did lol

....

back on topic.. supras are the highway masters... obviously if you have ever seen getaway in stockholm 2.. then you will see how fast those things can get i never seen any supra's dyno... anyone got a pic...just wanted to see the rwhp compared to there torque.

Yeah b/c they never start from a dead stop. Seems like every vid of a supra out there they race from a roll. I dont care how much HP a car has, if you dont have any TQ then you just a little bitch.

Lets simulate how powerful a car is and race from a roll . Racing from a roll has never done anything for me. It takes all the skill out of driving.

The reason we race from a roll is traction. Even with my car that night on ET Street 28x12.50x15s, the car still spins in 2nd gear a little. It is to dangerous to go out and launch 700 plus hp cars from a dig without a prepped surface. I dont remember VHT being supplied on the freeways by DOT. Plus doing a burnout on a public road is to risky when it comes to law enforcement. Travis's supra makes over 600lb/ft of torque to the wheels, which is more than 99% of the cars on here, so get over it.

If you havent noticed, I bought Weld Magnum 2.0 Drag wheels. They are 15x3.5 in the front, 10lbs each, and 15x10 in the back, 12lbs each, and i have ET Street 28x12.50x15 tires on the back as well. Compared to my 98 Cobras and tires, they are 64 lbs lighter than the old setup. I also bought X2C Motorsports race seats which are only 16lbs each.

for some reason, i cant dowload the vid. I would really like to see it.

Also i seen where theres gonna be a rematch, even the guy on that forum that is supra biased, said that supra is gonna have to up the boost to keep up with that stang at 1.28 bar.

i think that is funny, i give supras their credit, they are fast. However, your car with that much boost and the torque i am sure it is making should be able to at least hang depending on how much boost he is capable of putting to that car. I see you have nitrous as well, Did you spray it or was that an all boost run

i would have to tend to agree, that turbo doesn't put as much strain on that motor as say a supercharger pushing the same boost or even near the same
