I make an effort not to go the theater when these movies come out. The first time I went my car got egged, even the added cop presence doesn't deter them. The morons come in droves for these things, rice central...

I had a lot of fun the night the first one came out..

I went to the local movie theatre with my 87 turbo-t regal running 21+ pounds of boost on cam2 and spanked the living hell out of any ricer near me that even looked like he thought of flooring it. my car was a 11-12 sencond car and I had a bunch of other sub 12 second cars with me.

This was the best one from that weekend..

I was driving thru the parking lot of a gas station near the movie theatre and there was a bunch of riced out hondas in the lot.. as I drive away from the light I hear one of them yell SLED at me... I turn around ASAP and floor it roast the tires into second and pull into the lot.. I pull up to the group of them and ask the guy who said it ( he had a riced out hatchback civic) if he wanted to run. he said

"no, I don't want to waste my gas running you" all his little ricer friends and whores thought this was funny.. So I pull a twenty out of my wallet and tell him to pull his toilet of a car to the pump I will fill it for you, but you have to run me in front of your friends.. right up the street there was a office park with a marked off 1/4 mile and it was safe from cops to run on..

Well he still would not run me.. he admitted my car was " the ****, and way to fast for him" satisfied with this I took off letting him and his friends and whores see a real car with a real boost gauge for a real turbo in action.

well this was 5 years ago.. now I would not run on the street or go looking for trouble with ricers.. you do stupid things when your in your early twenties

Good Story. I enjoyed it. In any case its pretty silly to race a ricer .... There is no point. I have seen videos and have heard from forums how ricers are getting Hondas and the like to run very fast but till this day I havent seen one actually perform well at all. We actually have car shows down here and out of all the cars that I see a handfull of them might look like they are capable of something impressive but on average .... nope nothing! Only thing I saw that was somewhat impressive, was a Evo and srt4 which were ok ... which actually gave me a run for my money but aside from that I have never come accross a Honda civic that would even remotely come close to make me say, "wow thats pretty fast". Actually the only thing I can say is all the noise and no speed ... So when I say that its pretty useless I mean that its a waste of time to actually go and race them. Its just a fad and thats whats in...

I can't wait for the parking lots are full of teenagers in their FWD cars trying to drift. It will be hilarious. My brother works at the local theater and I get in for free so I might actually go see this one just for laughs.

svttech76 - now thats funny! Sounds like something I would do if I was confident enough about my car.

Every honda out there isnt a "ricer" folks. There are very fast ones out there, but are few and far between. Its the simple fact that a honda is cheap and the cars are easily found, and there is a tremendous aftermarket for them. It's just that the majority of the people who modify honda's dont have the performance mind, and a bad taste of what looks good.

Haha this weekend when it comes out my local muscle car club is all going to see it....if we dont get kicked out while the movie is playing afterwards in the lot it should be funny watching the ricers drift into the poles outside the theater
