I bought the new toy...!

I have an 07 GT with automatic. I am very pleased with the 3,800 rpm stall converter I bought from Fuddle Racing. Launches way harder at the dragstrip, and the car is always in the power band when you give it gas!!!

I would suggest the 3000-3200 rpm for a daily driver, or the 3400-3600 for a street strip car with lots of mods. The 3800-4000 is a lot of converter for the average gearhead, but it's much closer to the peak torque for these 3V motors.

Congrats on the new toy!!!

NO the night after I got it, I had the deck lying around and amp, found the shaker 10's on craigslist ............And they transfered the plates right over for me at the dealership they have a new form when you buy the car if you want to transfer your plates you fill the form out and its done !! They didnt have a 5 speed in the color I like ! Thanks Dustin Its the very very first NEW car Ive ever owned !

Congrats on the brand new Stang whyask:nice: These new autos are a blast(with gears and tune)! Next year when I go back to the track with some sticky tires, I will be running high 12s! I'm also planning on getting the Spydershaft and some UDPs to drop my times even more:D

Would the 3000-3200 RPM stall live a long time when you put 30K miles a year on the car? That is the boat I'm in.

Don't see why not. The 5R555's have proven to be a fairly tough trans thus far. And if a POS AODE can live with one, I'm sure yours can. I personally don't think 3000-3200 will be enough though. I'm stalling right around 2,900-3,000 with my slightly heavier Mercury Cougar with modified Marauder converter and am making way more power in the form of a Positive Displacement supercharger and mine drives pretty much stock. I'd consider 3,400-3,600 minimum. You'll be used to it in to time, trust me.
