So yesterday i changed the fuel pump in my friends pebble driveway since no one else is at school. So im jiggling the tank out and the car tips over on the jackstands. And of course one of the wheels happens to be off the car. So the car is sitting on one wheel with the jack under the fuel tank holding up that side of the car, while also putting a dent in the tank, but THANKFULLY not puncturing it (thank good for the plank of wood i had between the jack and the tank). So i get the car back up, get the tank outta the car, take the old pump assembly out, install the new pump, and go to drop it in the tank. Well the dent is exactly where the fuel pump sits in the tank, so i had to pop the tank out which took 2 hrs tapping it with a jack handle and a hammer from the vent hole and the hole where the pump goes in. So i finally get everything back together, have my friend prime the tank while i check for leaks, then started it up and took it around the block a few times...no leaks. YES!! So today i decided maybe i should go fill the car up before i drive from Georgia to NJ tomorrow, that way if i have a problem i cant get it fixed before i leave. Well i go to get gas and i get to about 11.8 gallons, and it still isnt full. Im thinking to myself, its a 12.8 gallon tank, was i really that low? I mean i ran it down so i would have almost nothing in the tank to make it easy to drop the tank. Well i get to 12.3 and i stop cause i hear dripping. Well i look under the car and gas is dripping out from the seal where the filler tube meets the tank, then it started pouring out. So i had the car towed to the ford dealer to get the seal fixed because i am not dropping the tank again. I am sick of this **** happening to me, i deserve better treatment from my car than this hahaha. All i do is baby it, and it always gets revenge on me. Bastard
