today i was on the freeway and some @$sh0l3 cut me off which caused me to spin out and hit the gaurd rail. my drivers side fender, front appron and headlight door are damaged. i think im going to buy a fender from a parted out mustang, but for the front appron i might get a fiberglass r-model. what companies do you guys use, and how do you like the fitment?...

Sorry to hear about both of your accidents! That is one of my fears after all of these years, time & money spent is to have someone else take me out. All 5 of my Shelby front aprons have come from Tony Branda and they seem to fit fine and they carry both styles with or with out the bumper.

I have found that if you have ridden a motorcycle for years, you are much better at anticipating these events. I trust nobody and often can see other drivers blunders before they even make them.

Ditto on the bike riders making better drivers. Because of my bike experience, I now automatically check my rearview before slowing for a redlight or any unexpected stop just to make sure the guy behind me is slowing as well. My favorite saying is "drive like you're invisible".

When you are on a bike, you ARE invisible. I'm much more careful too after having ridden a bike for so long.
