Well I feel ashamed to say it but I feel like im getting bored with the Mustang. I don't know if i could ever sell it, but it seems like these days the mustang just sits in the garage and stays clean, I've done damn near everything i can do to it short of a new motor and don't plan on it. It is literally my dream car, but i feel like ive gotten to a point where im just bored of it.

Any of you feel the same way?

When I'm starting to get bored of the Stang, I'm tempted to go and try to start a project which usally takes 3 times as long and bites me in the butt. So boredom vs. something that can go horribly wrong!

I feel the same way sometimes but the other way around, I cant seem to mod it that much after paying for all the bills and if I do it takes a while... But when the car went in the shop for a week and I got it back I was really glad to be back in it...

A Vette is always an option... Just sayin...Or go with a 5.0. At least stretch the legs at the track, or in other places if you want to PM me.

If you start hanging out with us at the track, Texas Mile, and meeting up for different stuff, you won't get bored. Myself and D98GT have a great group of random car guys that we know from the forums and the track in our area. Really a cool group of guys with all different cars. We were pounding beers and drinking shots with one of my friends bosses(multi millionares) at the Texas Mile last time in their RV, and they treated us just like one of themselves.

Mustangs, Vipers, Vettes, imports are all neat. What is even better, is a community of guys that get together a few times a year and all have a great time with our cars.

I felt the same way a couple of weeks ago. I have had my 04 GT for the last 4 years and have only put a total of 3,000 miles on it. I was able to use some tax return money to work on the exhaust and now I love the way my car sounds. It still sits in the garage from time to time, but I pull it out more now. I also buy little things for it here and there. A shorty antenna, a black emblem decal, sequential taillights etc. Keeps me "interested" in it.

Not me. I look forward to the sound of the 4.6 roaring to life in the morning and after work every afternoon, slipping it into gear and easing out into traffic and the anticipation of maybe today I'll get the on-ramp all to myself so I can wind it out a bit or maybe I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere and I'll take the long way home and hit a few windy country roads.

+1. I LOVE driving my Mustang everyday. Sometimes even look for excuses to go drive it when I don't need to.

Maybe the biggest difference you could make in your car without making more power.

It may be your dream car, but it's not "priceless".

That being said, I just got a new job that requires my transportation to be "legal". Meaning I cannot drive my car there until I take the tint off and quiet the exhaust. It has been sitting for the past month and it's been driving me crazy not to drive it.
