i found a 2.3l engine with 85k miles on it with a t5 transmission for $300 in clearwater. i also found a 2.3l engine with 67k miles on it with a t5 transmission for $400 in st pete. would either of these be a good idea to get and drop in my car or no? thanks. both drives are about an hour away.

Yeah, either could be good...

What car and year are you trying to put the engine in? What year and car are these mustang engines from? Keep in mind that the 87-90 mustang engine is quite a bit different from the 91-93, so you'll want to match the engine to your car... whatever it is.

So try to get an 87-90 engine and it'll make thing a lot easier. Otherwise, you'll be doing a lot of wiring work and a computer swap.
