So what yer saying is that you are going to pay 300 dollars for a roller motor with GT40 heads and then pay another guy 2300 dollars to rebuild it with a 331 stroker kit installed ?

When I did my 331, I paid $100 for the block and $1300 for the stroker kit AND machinework. I don't understand what he meant by you couldn't get forged pistons and the roller setup. One has nothing to do with the other.

The guy that sold me the motor did not have a roller available with forged pistons. It didn`t matter anyway cause I`m boring the block 30 over.
