I found a tq converter!!!!

My transmission is out, it was a %^&* to get out though. My neighbor brought over a transmission jack so that was sweet.

The good thing was.... I HAVE A PRECISION INDUSTRIES TORQUE CONVERTER!!!

I thought I was just a good driver.... guess not, props to the tq converter-- not me lol.

Time to update my sig too! lol

Hope that new tranny works out for you. What stall rating did you get? Also, if you don't mind me asking; how much was the converter?

I guarantee you Jessi if you got in a "stock" AODE stang and drove it, you would have known you had a better TC.

Yup, I live in a small hole i'm just before the Florida Keys Tikki Bar is just a hope, skip, and jump for me. Down side is i'm pretty far from moroso from here 1 1/2 to 2 hours until they build one next to the Homestead Race Way ( they've been saying that for years) which would be awsome then I would be 2 min away. Rumor has it that the Seminal Indian are trying to build a track near the Casino. We down here can only wait and see if anything will ever happen.

I didn't buy the converter, I found it when swapping trannys

Pics will come tomorrow... Kyle left the camera at my parent's house.

I got pics for proof that I was doing it.

Oh yeah, trans works well.

Your stall must not be set too high...that doesnt matter tho, b/c youre still saving a lot of ponies to the wheels.

I noticed you already changed your sig.

WORD: change "Precision Industries Stallion..."

to

"PI Stallion" ....Sounds better and "cooler"

PUt a container of Lucas Tranny stuff in there...Good luck

yep... that was fun... I unbolted the plate there in the front of the motor and saw a pink converter and went... huh???? nooooo...

Pulled it out... damn right it is.

Gonna give PI a call tomorrow to see whats up with it... stall speed etc.

I've only been to the track once... so my times are shady lol.
Of the 3 runs I did, 14.98 was the best time.

Now that I have more mods than I thought...... I need to go back to the track and work on those times!! lol

Thanks so much Roger! It was a greal deal and very well worth the drive. We're going to make some more trips down south..... maybe we'll have to arrange a date when all the Ft. Lauderdale guys can meet up.

Alright.... Just talked to PI...

Its a 9.5" stallion... single disc lockup clutch... in the neighborhood of 2400rpm stall.

I found a tq converter!!!!
