I found out t5's dont like drag radials and turbos...

I tried everything possible. and i know a wider rim would help, but its not going to make stock suspension hook with 600+ ftlbs. and when i rode the clutch no matter how long or short it would burn it. even after full lock when i hit boost it would blow the tires off.

And running a good bead sealant works wonders for the wheel spinning in the tire. no need for screws.

all in all im not to concerned with the 5 speed as its already in the trash pile and my 4r70 should be done by the end of the week. Im not a novice to a 5 speed, but there is limits to ****ty clutches and wore out bushings.

Huh thats odd. but yea i had a few buddies there. and yea some of my buddies are kinda weird about people messing with our cars. we have been sabotaged before believe it or not. and yea my 60 foot times sucked balls. either my clutch would start to slip or i would spin bad. i had like 2 good launches and about 10-15' out when i hit boost the tires would blow off.

did you see me grenade the trans? i wish they would have got a pic of that run. hooked good and pulled out hard then boom. Figures the only clean jump i make it would blow up. oh well

You seemed to have some track issues, till right around the 330 make. All that boost kicking in. Maybe some upper and lower control arms?

I dont mind people looking. should have asked where the owner was they would have found me. I love showing people the car. and yep along time ago i had someone cut wires under my hood. I have new control arms. my drivers side lower front bushing ripped out. didnt see that until this afternoon.

Engine: ported TW heads, stock bottom end, stock cam

Fuel: 42's, 255 pump, stock rails and lines, pro-m meter, moates QH tuned and burnt to an sct chip.

turbo is a knockoff 72mm, BOV and wastegate are also ebay specials.

and for NiK this is all i have of the heads man. i REALLY want everyone to see the exhaust ports. there not even square anymore. they look like squashed letter 8's the tops of the ports actually are at the edge of the bolt holes. I tried to cut a stock gasket out for it but it left me with an 1/8" at the top and on the edge of the outermost ports. crazy.

I would of ran only copper RTV for the exhaust gasket but that's just me. Either way you get it sealed though it'll work!

What was your 1/8 mile mph? My car is down about 10mph in the 1/8th because of traction issues and racing at a ****ty track. It would trap over 130 with the right suspension setup and at a good track.

Car makes I a little over 10psi. My car won't go in third gear because of the goofy TKO 600 so that with my horrible 60' is the reason for my ****ty times. Also race at Bristol, TN with 4000' DA in the summer(which the turbo helps with having to race in high DA) but I've got a bunch of little issues keeping me from seeing the real potential of the car, really sucks.

Hopefully this year everything will be worked out and it'll ET/MPH like it should.

My combo is basically the same. heads are bigger but im also around the same boost level. it hangs around 8-9 psi. and im leaving with no boost and your 60's cant be no better than mine. it would either hook/ leave/ hit bosst then blow them off or it would spin. my best 60 was a 2.25, lol

So far we're usually in the 1.90ish range but Bristol isn't known for prep. If I were to haul the car(as I plan to do next year) to Bowling Green to race some it'll probably go 1.70's with no changes from where it sits now.

The big issue for me wasn't the 60' because that'll come down in time, it's the tranny not working that made me dishearted enough to not even race but 6 passes in the car last year.

My car has "anti-lag" from the AEM but it's not used as I have plenty of issues with traction now.

I've got a 4R70W to use just like you but I think I may send the TKO 600 out to have it fixed for this year coming since it'll be cheaper for me in the long run. That 4R70W is a badass tranny and I bet you'll love it. After I see your results with it I'll probably have to swap mine in asap, haha.
