Someone pulled the crank out. It was out of a fox hatch. I pulled the heads and it was stamped e7te. the block also had the same casting number, but the rods had a c8o??. I forgot the last two numbers. Did ford use the 68 rods or did the person do a rebuild. If so i assume that since they are older rods, they might be a little stonger. The pistons looked stock, they had a ford number and a trw number( i forgot what those numbers were). Everything looked to be in good condition. I didn't take the block or rods because i have no room for it right now and it was laying on the ground anyway. I picked it up and put it inside the mustang because it might have been worth saving from the rain and whatnot. Is there anything special there?
thanks

same cast number as in my 85, means the cast didnt change from 68 or they stockpiled several million in 68
see if the bearings have a ford logo or name on them, if they dont then its been rebuild
