I got a real weird question about my odometer

I got my 2001 Cobra last month with 45000 or so but now just today first it said 4x980 and not its a 95982. what the hell is wrong with it is u have any info on this please let me know? I would really appreciate it thanks.

Did you hit the button and go into the diagnostics mode? I know the digital odometers have that built into it with the tripmeter, digital tach, and other diagnostic tools...

I think to get into that mode just press in on the little button next to the odometer...I dont' have a 99+ so I'm really not for sure how it works...

Hold the button for 5 sec. then start the car while still holding the button. All your gauges should peg out then drop back down.
