Allright i know that i just connect the red wire to the battery, but what do i do with the old regulator and those wires that are going to it, which wires do i eliminate ?????

Also i just orderd my lakewod traction bars too, do the springs have to be under a load when putting them on???

You just won't use the harness from the solenoid to the alternator. You can unplug the voltage reg. and remove or leave it alone as it will not be doing anything anymore.

So that plug into the regulater, and the harness to the alternator i can un-plug and take out of the car? Ive heard i have to tie them back and keep them in? also the black wire thats coming out of that "harness" that goes to the solinoid (the side that allways has volts) can i take that out too?

I don't think the plug for the regulator comes out, it is part of the harness. If you don't want it hanging there, you can tie it out of the way. The alt. to solenoid harness can be unplugged and removed. The only thing I haven't figured out with these alternators is how to make the stock gauge work.
