I got shingles a few years ago.
At my left eyebrow extending up into my scalp.
hurt like a mofo!

I can still feel a slight tingling sensation when the sun hits it.

Only real noticeable thing is i can no longer wear contact lenses.
they feel odd on my left eye ever since the outbreak.

Yep they suck. I got shingles about two years ago. Started as a rash on one side of my body then the pain. I thought old people got it until I did at 29! Good ol herpes! Better this form of it rather than the other!

There are some strange ass threads recently

I haven't had shingles before and I'm not sure if I've had chicken pox.

Edit: I just looked up the pictures and I remember having something similar when I was 12

these thing not contagion ! if you already have chicken pox. if some one never have chicken pox it can contagion to them and they can get chicken pox not shingles, after they had chicken pox then they will have shingles virus in their body.

non-genital herpes is almost like shingles. It sits in your nerves waiting for a trigger just like shingles. You could have herpes and never know. Instead of a rash it can be really painful blisters

I have one that comes out on my left thumb once or twice a year, normally caused by heat or stress in the area. My dad got it while he was stationed in Germany in the 80's. It breaks out on his shoulder and I guess I touched it with my thumb when I was little

I had shingles back in February, hurt like hell! Doc gave me some pills to take but told me it was probably too late and id have to ride it out. Took Advil by the handfulls and for some reason Allegra seemed to help, so did Crown Royal Black. Had it bad for about two week, missed one day of work.

I found that when a wave of pain would start to come up I could put my back against a wall ( I had them on my back) and press as hard as I could, seemed to help. Good luck!

Shingles is herpes. The medical diagnosis for it is Herpes Zoster.
