We are happy to see you go like that

P.S. Was that a package you just flat out bought for the GT? Or did Ford really sell a GT with the Shelby GT package?

According to the window sticker, it is purchased by the dealership, then shipped to Shelby in Vegas.. Shelby's factory installs everything on the GT coupe.

It has a "GT Upfitters Package" before it goes to Shelby:
The package includes:
235/50/18 Tires
Floormat delete
Spoiler delete
Front seat airbags
3.55 Limited Slip
18" black painted wheels

Hehe, just after having finished reading this thread, I went to the post office to drop off some letters, and on my way back I saw a car exactly with this same package. He pulled into a gas station and I pulled in behind him and said, "Did you previously have an 04 that you just got rid of?" He said, "No." Then we talked for a sec, and we talked about the GT500 and he said that he was going to buy one, but he didn't want to pay the dealer markup. He said he would have paid sticker price in a heart beat, though.

He said he loves my car, especially the wheels. *tear*

You definately picked the right color combo between the white and black options. Way to go!

I havent seen a black one, but the local dealer here just got a white one in last week. It looks pretty good but i wont go in the showroom to see what they want for it, since they want 16k for a 00 gt with 90k miles on it.
