So I caught the driver door on the way out the garage I had the door slightly open because i was only backing out a small distance, and the next thing i know the inside of the door caught the garage door track! It sounded like it bent the door but it opens and closes just fine. The inner door trim was torn where it caught the track. There are also 2 small divits in the door closer to the front of the car where it started to bend. Im going to take her in for an estimate from ford. Anyone got any idea of a ballpark $$ Im looking at? I think it just needs pulled and the trim replaced (i dont know if they repaint after they pull a door or not). Only my luck . . . .

Snap some pics if you can. I hate to admit it, but I've been driving around with a self inflicted "racing stripe" on my passenger side for a couple months now. (Mostly to make myself think about what I've done). Really not a big thing, but it will still cost me $500 to get it fixed. I feel for you, man. :(

man that sucks, get a new door. no seriously i think at least 500-1000 cause they have to paint and then bend and all that stuff. good luck with that man, sorry to hear about that. once in my 1993 blk cobra i sat on my garage door opener and it shut on my front left fender. only paint chippin but still hurt my cars feelings, lol.

Jesus...are you serious?

That seems pretty steep for the body work...

Also, you need new glass and a new motor? why? did that break too?

I just recently replaced my drivers side door, picked up a door for 250 from a junkyard...
