I have searched a bunch of threads about pcv and how it should be hooked up. I am having an issue where the car will rev slow then at 3500 rpms the power will kick in and it is enough that when is secound gear once it hits the 3500 mark then the tires will start spinning like crazy. I have replaced everything but the coil, including plugs, wires, distributor, injectors, mass air flow sensor. Once the car warms up the car isnt as dramatic about the power increase but it is still there, seems to run better cold. The ect sensor is new same with the act sensor. But as I get deeper and deeper into the car I notice things that were not done right, the most recent is the pcv system. The pcv is hooked up to vaccum unter the gt40 upper intake both of the valve covers have open breathers. From what I gathered is that this would cause a hug vac leak causing the pcv to suck in unmetered air and causing a lean condition. Now my question is from both valve covers where do I run the vac lines to? I seen on one car that the driver side was ran to the front of the gt40 upper where my car is capped off. But where would the driver side run? Any pictures would be great! Also the vac lines on my throttle body are plugged off too. Sorry for the long post but wanted to get as much detail as possible. Thanks.
