Yeah JB weld should fix it up fine.

That sucks man! What do you think was the mode of failure? Too little fuel flow, too much timing, too little octane, combination......?

too little fuel. it started going lean on me for some reason.
the bore has alot of slag on it, but doesn't seem to be ruined.

it's a j&e srp piston.
and yes, i drove it home (smoked like a train).

so i would like to know, when did you figure out you blew a hole in your piston, as opposed to kissed valves, etc. do you have a pic of the bore? I'd like to see that too if you got one. NASTY!

wow, you almost had me beat! How are the heads?

I didn't drive mine home the day mine went but I still had to deck the heads from the detonation pitting the heads.
