i installed rear upper and lower control arms on my 89 notch and.......

now my mustang is the offroad model i even tried to loosen the bolts and preload the rear with a floor jack. anyone else have this problem?
my car is 89 notch
installed southside uppers and lowers

Something is bound up. Driveshaft maybe? Pull the rear springs out and see if you have a smooth, uninterrupted range of motion.

theres no drive shaft in the car its a roller right now

did you put the rear sway bar back on? it's not caught up on something holding it away from the underside of the car is it?

Your springs have to be facing the same way. Rotate them 180 degrees and see what happens.

theres no sway bar havent put it back in yet. took the springs out nothing binding. its a roller but its got full interior so all the weight thats in the back is there.i jacked up the middle of the rear with the springs in it with very little movement but each side individually and the springs compress. any ideas?

With the body on jackstands and the springs removed, jack up the axle to confirm free range of motion all the way to the stops. If that works OK, then you are not binding and can look elsewhere.
