this is why

the feeling that i have right now is like none other. It totaled. engine and everything are fine. but the chassis is bent. thank god im perfectly fine. not even a bruise. but some idiot tried squeezing in and turning left while im going straight. wheels locked up tried turning and ending up in that. never in my life have i screamed and told off a person like that. i almost bashed his head against my fender. well guys. ill be hangin around, 10000 dollars worth of damage according to the report. hopefully im gonna get another. if not, ill by a crappy 4 cyl for ike 1000 bucks and swap it all.

That really sucks, start getting examples of similar (or better) condition GTs online with prices so you can give them to the insurance company if they low ball you.
I got $9000 for my last Fox after dealing with the insurance company then reselling the car

You guys are really starting to scare me. I really haven't driven my 95 yet this year, and it's not just the Fox guys having this problem. We've been affected by this gremlin over in 94-95, too. I'm glad you're not hurt Mike, but you should go to the doctor like these guys are recommending. Your back is gonna hurt like a sonofabitch tomorrow. Maybe even this evening as the adrenaline really wears off and the muscles start to tighten up. Take a couple ibuprofin and go soak in a hot bath (this thread is worthless WITH pics, in that case!), and keep the muscles loose. If you feel any pain that seems to be spinal, get to the ER ASAP, so they can assess it and make sure no permanent damage comes from it. Back injuries tend to happen over a long-term period, but it takes something like this to get it started off.

I feelz ya... although I just fixed a wreck and before that killed my vert, so it can suck and be cool, but yours is toast..... but find a good donor car, that is a 94+ believe me that abs and extra reinforcement is a big help!! To each their own but thats what I would be doin..

yeah, i appreciate all the replies. just angers me how people out there can lie about that. seriously, the guy came from cuba recently, he has a temp. liscense on a 8 1/2x 11 paper. WTF!!!!! and then the witness didnt wana be in the report, so no one had fault, and i have to go to court now. worst comes to worst, ill pay his car a visit, leave a nice message, and get on with my life and transplant the motor in a lightweight body. i just hope justice comes thru here. i really do.
