OK, I'll set myself up in front of the firing squad here!! I have a Superbird tattoo on my right arm as I've owned Mopar muscle cars MOST of my life. HOWEVER!!! Due to "circumstances" I was faced with purchasing a newer muscle car because of all the miles I am driving. Well Dodge / Chrysler rear wheel drive cars are pretty much limited to the Viper....WAY out of my price range. Long story short I ended up with Bullitt #801. My close friend Jay Bittle owner of JBA Racing specializes in the 4.6 modular engine, I gotta admit, approx. 6 months and $3,000.00 later I own the hottest car I've ever had. I'm NOT a "loyal" make owner. If a car looks hot a car looks hot REGARDLESS" of the tag on the trunklid! In a nutshell.... I LOVE my Bullitt!!

If you really know Jay you are welcome here anytime! I remember talking to him back in the 80s at a car show. He owned the wickedest 67 Shelby clone I'd EVER seen!

I still remember that car and have often wondered what happened to it, ask him if you get the chance will ya?

Ignore sadbuttrue, he gets cranky in the wintertime

there is nothing wrong with older chrysler muscle cars, but you are right, they have nothing these days rear drive that would be equivelant to an old charger or road runner.

I have to say that it is sweet that u own a Bullitt. I think that that car might be my favorite mustang at this moment. the lines are so clean and it is such a sleeper. I decided that when I actually decide to get a newer car its definately going to be a bullitt. Post some pics of ur car so we can all see.

Jay has done all the work on my Bullitt. As far as his 1967 GT 500 it's on our site!! You can see it / him for yourself!!! I went down to San Diego last week and spent my b-day with him!http://musclecarcalendar.com/FeatureCarsHome/JaysGT500/Jays1967ShelbyGT500Home.htm
