I feel your pain. I was depressed when I passed by my old car. My advice: install mental blocks, get drunk on some malt liquor, blow up your old car so no one buys it, and hide out in Mexico. When I saw my old car driving around, I went and made sure they were taking care of it. Of course they weren't. I wanted to carjack it back. I went home to find my spare key, and told myself if I saw the car, it was mine again. I never did see it again, and was sent overseas soon afterword. Thats why I sold it. I don't want to know where the car is now.
THIS IS WHY YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS IN YOUR HOME TOWN. Drive 300 miles away to trade in a beloved car, or when buying a used one. You never know when a crazed owner will want it back, or you will see your car and wish you had it back.
