My torque convertor gave out on me today and now its stuck on the side of the road. I have to get another one and cant afford to get a 300-400$ convertor. The specs of my cam say that I should use a 2500 stall convertor. Anyone know of a good cheap convertor that'll hold up? I looked at Jeg's convertor but it say's to not use it with a big block, NOS, or any boost. I dont have any of those but I plan on do8ing alot more work to the motor. Heres a list of my mods. Im building a 9 inch with 3:70's and a locker to go in shortly

It has been a while since I had a stocker. But when i was in high school I needed one, too. I went to a place directly that rebuilds them and traded in my old one for a stock rebuilt one for 50 bucks. Are you positive it's the stall ?
