Ok I welded some flowmaters in to my stock exhaust. I like how it sounds but want it a little bit louder and some more performance out of it. I was told to go with and aftermarket h pipe. Well this is what this guy is willing to selling me.

My question is I think our bullitts have a 2 1/4 pipe from the H pipe or manifolds back will this be an issue seeing that the h pipe that I might buy is 2 1/2 or can it bolt right up with no problems or welding.

(((((((((( THE GUY IS WILLING TO SELL ME THIS ))))))))))))))
This is an H pipe that was on my mustang for about 8 months. it is in good condition. there is some minor surface rust on the welds and flanges but nothing structural. These pipes are 2 1/2in dia. i took the pipes off because i sold the car. i had flowmasters with this pipe and it sounded so good. i bought these pipes from jegs with the mil eliminators.(these fool the computer into thinking there are cats still on the car so the check engine light dosent come on). i am selling the mil's with the pipes. over all the pipes are in good shape and have many years left in them!! Fits 99-04

H-pipes are going to make the car real loud, to the point you won't want to be in the car for very long. Hence the reason your friend is most likely selling them cheap.
Thats a bunch of crap. I don't get how you can say that when you have a Bassani O/R X-Pipe with Bassani Catback which is waaaay louder than Flows and an O/R H-Pipe. Itll be fine

the flows are 40 series dual chambers. If that helps they are just welded in to stock exhaust. I was thinking that the o/f h pipe would be good. I dont want it to be so loud that when I am driving its annoying though.

If you want something more quiet I'd get a catted X...

oooops, you got flows, well im always told you get what you pay for! As for the h pipe, dont go for it what you need is a MAC pro chamber w/o cats!! o.k. everyone knocks mac for the fit, but this one makes power.... and for the cat back ( I who does not have a cat back yet ) would go with bassani, or something other than noflows.

depends on how much he is asking. they are so cheap new I would just buy a new one. If he selling it for $50 I would consider it.

as for it being loud it just depends on your definition of loud. IT will sound like 40series flows and no cats. I have heard the combination proably 1000 times in my life. should not be too hard to figure out if that is too loud for your taste. I never run cats becasue I don't have emissions and cats are a "consumable" so to speak they don't last forever. I always just pick a muffler than I like the sound of and ditch the cats. If you need cats in an exhaust to like the sound you chose the wrong muffler IMO.

Mine is louder than stock but my car is NOT loud. I think that will depend on which flows he has. He needs some advice from the flowmaster guys (plenty of threads on that one too).

Where can you get one for 130 shipped? I've seen H's that cheap but not x's.

Also...is it true that MAC fitment sucks? I'd rather pay a little extra for a BBK if they fit better.

The deal in question referred to an H and that is what I was talking about. As far as fitment, my MAC was no trouble at all. I can't speak for any of their other products but the H was pretty straightforward.
