I am trying to find an auto appraiser in the Seattle / metro area. I am actually in Everett, but it really doesn't matter. Hopefully someone knows an appraiser that is really into Mustangs and can evaluate my car fairly. I am trying to get different financing on the car and the lender is saying the price of the car is too high for market value. Apparently, they only understand "stock" vehicles.

Anybody have a friend or relative in the business? Please e-mail me at "killrbf4@aol.com" or call me at 425-316-0753.

Brandon, after you have your appraisal done go get yourself some nice collector car insurance as well. I can help with details, but tell you right now it will probably save you a bunch and really protect the car for it's full value.

I think Kelly's Blue Books would value an '87 Mustang 5.0 -even one with very low miles, at about $1600. Those guys seem to have a little trouble thinking outside the box. They're also grossly inaccurate.

Yeah, they are REALLY low. Heck, I would give you $2100 for your '89 and they would say that is too much!
