is there a dipstick to check the transmission on manual transmissions i feel real stupid asking this but i know some have check plugs on transmission and i cant find dipstick anywhere i have 97 mustang gt

no dip stick on the manual. your right on the check plugs

You would think so! Huh? Haha there is no dumb questions dude. Watch out when checking cause they somehow got mine waaaay past the check plug and I caught half a quart with my hair.

so when your filing it then you fill from the check plug also right
