I get calls at work from customers that don't understand how the regeneration system on their tractor or construction equipment works. I want to start saying this...

Me: Hello (insert dealership name here)

Customer: There are these weird blinking lights on my tractor and it doesn't seem to have as much power. What's wrong?

Me: Do you have your operators manual with you?

Customer: No, not at the moment.

Me: OK, I'll wait.......

Customer: Wait for what?

Me: Wait for you to go get your operators manual so we can go through it together.


I get really tired of holding people's hands some days.

You guys are making up your own stories. It was directed toward any of you.

I see very first post of every account, every day whether I moderate it or someone else does. I saw a rash of "Help" threads and finally was

So I sent an alert to every registered member that had visited since Jan to remind new accounts to create meaningful titles. I don't worry about you lot. When folks see threads created by long-timers, they get viewed. The new threads don't get that level of attention so it's better have a thread title like, "92 Brake Issues" or "No power at wide open throttle" or whatever.

Since putting all of that information into a alert would kinda' suck...
