I was thinking that a great gift for me this christmas would be some books on mustangs. I was already thinking about the chiltons manual on the 5.0 but was curious if there were any better ones? plus are there any on superchargers?

The official Ford Mustang 5.0 technical referance and performance handbook. Definately worth $30. Has some interesting info in there. Don't get a chiltons book. They suck. Get the OEM manual it is much better.

If you're interested in fuel injection and how the electronics work, "Ford Fuel Injection and Electronic Engine Control" by Charles O. Probst has a lot of information. I must admit I've only cracked it a few times because I don't have a wealth of time, but it appears to have a lot of good information as far as how it works, sensors, etc. It's only $20.

Giddy and TU summed it up pretty nicely - that should keep you busy for some time.

Not really, its only a start. For instance, it tells you never to remove the TPS, it must be adjusted by the dealership.

Agree! I have the 5.0 Technical Reference Manual and I've always used the Haynes Manuals. Chilton sucks Big Ones. I just recently got myself the T5 Rebuild Video from Hanlon Motorsports along with the Manual and let me tell you the Video Kicks some Big As$. It's the best.

Ditto it tells you what you already know.
