no the MSD6 will not work on the coil pack setup (stock)
MSD does sell a dis-4 unit but you need two of them and they are expensive(~$400 ea.).
unless you are building a big boost supercharge/turbo engine skip this mod.
if you have some misfires and a stock motor look for MSD or accel coil pack replacement.

not true. on 1996 to 1998 you only need 1 DIS-4 but you may need two #8912 Tach adapters at @$50.00 each. stay away from the aftermarket coil paks as there is NO performance gain eth them over the stock Ford ones.
