depends on what mufflers you have, how you have it configured...it'd cost about the same as any other exhaust though.

on mine, there was no cutting of the car required whatsoever. the guy just bent tht pipes and welded them on. it's awesome having side exits

lets put it this way theres the expensive exhuast kit. and theres an exhaust system. depends who you are, what you like, and what your wallet says. i'm going side exits but i'm dong it the cheap way. 60 bucks worth of glass packs and about 100 bucks worth of exhaust tubes. you get the idea.

yah, it's in dublin. i forget the name offhand, i think it's minute muffler or something. but i'll go and look for the card. it's right on dublin blvd. the owner's name is scott jaques, he did a beautiful job on it. bent everything by eye and it fit perfectly the first time. he's a pro. i'll go and look for that info for ya

good luck! but make sure you get some REALLY compact mufflers, otherwise you won't be able to pull this off...i have dynomax race magnum bullets + absolutely love 'em, but if you're looking for a cruiser they may be too loud...

Not sure how prices compare from the midwest to where you are. My 2.5" "pipe work" ran ~$200, with me providing the mufflers. I ran Dynomax's ($49 each from Summit), but you can get Magnaflows, Borlas, Spintech's or several others depending on budget and sound desired...

You should be able to duplicate mine for about $300, without the fancy tips.

I like the Super Turbos - loud when you get on it, but quiet at cruise...

Summit racing - part # WLK-17676 for 2.5". For 2.25", use WLK-17675.

A bit hard to tell in the pic. Bob's tips appear to be Spintech. Great products, they also have GREAT sounding front-in / front-out mufflers.. Spintech.com

Only a few manufactures make front inlet/outlet mufflers.

I have less than $200 in mine including the dyno-max mufflers. Find a low cost independent muffler shop (ask around). Take your own mufflers and collectors. If you want to use Flow Masters they will tuck in just in front of the rear axle. The dyno-maxes can go further up.

Key is to get your own mufflers and collectors. They will be cheaper and you can get into and out of the muffler shop quicker which will also save you money.

Another budget tip from Historic.
