Ok, so I am getting ready to prime my Mustang and I wanted to scuff up the paint right? Well the current layer of white looked like it was applied with a roller, so I said why not at least take this one layer off completely... what follows is a bit comical.
Removing the white paint and it's underlying primer revealed a coat or red paint. (and anyone who knows me, knows that I can't stand red cars) ok so that coat had to come off... so I kept sanding and discovered orange paint under it, not primer but actual paint.
Wow now I was curious what lay beneath that, so I kept going and found green, (I am not making this up). Being a bit careless I went through the green paint in a few spots and guess what, there was a layer of white paint under that... Again actual layers of paint, I am not even talking about the layers of primer in between.
Check out the pics, I think it was kinda funny, hours of sanding to simply end up where I started from - color wise anyways.
