I ordered a 2011 5.0 on my order sheet is says order type a?

I believe 'type a' means it's a 2011 that comes with a left over 2010 4.6 L.

Order type A = Ford Motor Company employee (or their eligible relative) on A-plan pricing. "A" is also used to enter D-plan or Z-plan customer orders.
Order type X = X-plan orders.
Order type 1 = retail orders for specific customers.
Order type 2 = orders for dealer stock.
Doesn't matter if it's 1, A, or X as all of these tell Ford that a real live person is waiting for the car - not just a car for dealer stock.
nice build..... any reason you didnt opt for the brembo package? how much was that option?
I am curious as well.
Given this car's performance potential, 14" brembo's make a lot of sense. It will cost a lot more than $1,600 to upgrade brakes on your own.

I too didnt order the brembos. after owning a 350z track package that came with brembos, i realized they were overpriced for 4 piston calipers.
So i decided to go with the non brembos for now. Once i upgrade the engine, i am going to need some serious stopping power. much more than just entry level brembos. Maybe some from the FRPP bin, or Roush, or 6 piston caliper Brembos.
These 6 piston Baer units look like they will fit the bill:

$3920.00 retail for fronts & rears
$3,170.00 retail for fronts only.
But i have seen deals on them.
Also i did not want to get 19" wheels in the tri state ny area. they would not have survived.
So in summary, if i were never going to add a blower, i think the brembo factory option is a good option. But i am planning for longer term. I know what i want to do and no need to waste money on the factory brembos when i will want 6 piston calipers later.
I think the package was 1900, That would have put me at 37k did not wanna spend that much, stopping is important but I don't really need brembo brakes though..
