I ordered volt/temp/oil press FMS gauges...any install tips for me?

I would like to know specifics that would help me mount the gauges to the motor. I ordered a triple a pillar mount for water, oil and volts.

also:

Will they dim with my dash lights dimmer switch?

Will my old gauges function also if I follow the installation directions which come with the gauges?

I installed so many it's not even funny. Would be a good idea to construct a small wiring harness for them out of the car. Make them share a common ground that way you eliminate using more wires than necessary (basically have the 3 ground wires run into one). If you tap into the wire for the gauges you can utalize the dimmer switch. Sorry don't remember what color wire it is b/c I didn't do that w/ mine. Other than that just take some time and plan it out. I sometimes try to use existing holes to run wires when possible. All my factory gauges still work in my car as well.

You will need some brass from the hardware store to retain the stock OP gauge sender.

I also daisychain the wires. Fuse 13 is the dimmer circuit - just tap power from the dead side of the fuse. Or tap into a wire in the dash (radio illumination wire, etc) that is dimmed.

I relocated my stock temp gauge sender to the rear of the driver side lower. The new sender went in the stock location. for OP, I used a Tee fitting. The stock hole for the OP sender is 1/4". Your new sender is likel 1/8". So you need to adapt between those sizes when rigging together your Tee and adapters.

Did you get a mechanical voltmeter or electric? (this was a joke).

Good luck.
